Okay Kitsappers are we going for another write-in this Friday, November 16th? If so are we going to attack the Barnes and Nobles or the other starbucks? Let me know ASAP so plans can be arranged!!! We'll make it for the same time frame as last time: 6:30pm until we drop!

I am in sore need of a night in with my hubby, so I probably will not attend a write-in this Friday. However, I will send a notice out on the "list" to see if anyone has any ideas to throw into the mix. I'm sorry I won't be able to make it, but it's been an exhausting week!

I think I heard something from Smoketiger about getting together on Sunday at Round Table . . . ? I will throw that in the list, too, to see if there's any response. I don't know if we'll make it, but it sounds like fun! :)

Let's make it the B&N cafe since I don't know where the other Starbucks is and I have trouble working my way out of a paperbag. I was planning on crunching the words tomorrow anyway, so I'll be there at 6:30PM!

Well, I came, I saw, I wrote, and I left B&N at 10:30 cross-eyed and 2600 words farther along than I was when I showed up at 6:30. What amazes me is that it was all one scene!

I settled in to writing and began to slow around 9:30 when MadamPro (I think that's how the handle is spelled, I beg forgiveness if it's not...I'm still fuzzy) showed up and we chatted for a bit before he settled in to writing and I found a second wind to keep me going. He has one of the coolest strategies to encourage his word count and creative flow that I have found yet! Another fun bit for the evening was the group of highschool students at the next table who were sharing their creative writing works with one another. It turns out some of them are also participating in NaNoWriMo and we offered words of encouragement all around.

I really appreciated the daily site update and message for today, the comments on coming from behind. Yes, I've felt a bit discouraged because words are starting to drag and life is rearing its head demanding more of my attention, but I'm not giving up! Stay tuned for mre updates about another get together. Will let everyone know.

Fuzzily yours,
shagin
