I think I will bring a notepad this time. My computer is too much of a burden. Besides I am having a good word day. I just might go early so I can stop in and check out a ride or two. I am in the mood to ride California Screamin'. I think I might be able to write about adrenaline rushes better if I go and experience one!

Rats! and Double Rats! Don't know if I will make it after all, but I'm trying.
Not ten minutes after I posted that I was coming I went to put some files away in a closet we have at work that is under the staris. My phone rang and I turned around too fast and smacked my head on the beam that supports the stairs.
Yes! You really do see stars when you smack your head that hard! It makes a huge knot on your head too!
The gal that works with me had the audacity to say she couldn't understand how I did it. She goes in there all the time and never has a problem. Sheesh! She's 5"2". I'm 5'9" and I was wearing two inch heels today. I rolled my eyes at her and groaned! She got the picture!
I drove home okay but it was touch and go. If I move my head too fast right now I get a little grey around the edges and my stomach does flip flops. It's throbbing a bit right now too. Guess the pain meds are wearing off. We'll see how I'm doing in a couple of hours.
I'm beginning to think my plans for NaNo activities are cursed! Just about everytime I decide to go to one, some stupid thing happens. Maybe it's the writing gods telling me I need to stay home and get my word count up. Ya' think?
Anyway, if I do show up I won't be wearing those heels! Don't know what I'll be wearing, so I'll just look for those Tigger ears. Wish me luck (and strong pain meds!)

Oh dear. What is going on with us Katz? I have had my own mishaps during NaNo, too. If I weren't so busy writing a book, I would write about what I have gone through writing a book. I may still do that... in December!

Katzendragonz - I'm so sorry for your injury! I can relate to you having something go wrong right before the event. I was so excited to go to the Grand Californian last week - and then I had that surgery on my foot complete with Vicadin and days of bedrest that I didn't expect.
Since that was the weekend that I was going to catch up, and since this is the first day for a whole week I could sit down and possibly write, I'm not sure this Nano is gonna work this year.
Peace to you and speedy recovery! Did you go to a doctor?
BTW-The build a muse is an awesome idea guys! Ya'll are so creative.

What a blast! I had a wonderful time, and my muse is happily settled next to my laptop. The drive and play at Disney inspired 3 new scenes so far. I hope to type them up tonight so I can go play guilt free tomorrow.
