I have finally recieved swag, in the form of some really awesome stickers. I'm going to be at the write-in downtown tomorrow, and as many as I can make thereafter, in order to distribute them. I also got my ML t-shirt, so if you see someone in a very very yellow shirt, you might be looking at me.

Yay stickers! :) I won't be able to make it tomorrow night as I have two essays to write on top of catching up on my NaNo. Will you be at any other upcoming write-in's...namely the Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Co write-in Monday at 5 pm....or the Surf City write-in this coming Saturday? Hopefully I'll be able to be at those.

I may be at the Pacific Coffee Roasting Co one, and I will most likely not be at the Surf City one.

I'll have some swag at all the Aptos and Scotts Valley write-ins. My package finally arrived as well (about time).

The calendar is the best place to look for upcoming events as I don't always remember to double post in the forum I started when the calendar was not yet functional. Also, the list of upcoming events at the bottom of the main forum page only shows the next 6 events on the calendar. Right next to this abridged list is the obscure link to the calendar. All it says is "more."

Will there be any swag at tonight's write-in? Did you run out yet?

Thanks!

A little update. I've still got plenty of swag, but my computer is broken, and I'm not sure I can make it to any write-ins since I am now obliged to use the school computers (the repair shop isn't even looking at my computer for two more days).

For UCSC students in particular, I will often be writing at Oakes computer lab, at MERC (bottom floor of McHenry), or perhaps in the science library (most likely Cowell room). So if you happen to be in the area, you might poke your head in.

Hey bubble,

If you have a Mac my husband repairs them if they are under warranty. He is in the natural science bldg in the basement his name is Scott Harris. Even if its not under warranty its worth letting him take a quick look he has been known to perform daring acts of god like computer saves. Just tell him your a nano and he will understand the critical nature of your computer needs and do his best to help you. Nothing like have your computer tech next to you in bed during November.

Thank you, Bonnie. It is in fact a Mac, and it's under Apple Care, but I already handed it over to another repair service and it'll be back to me in a while. In the mean time, I only lost about 300 words due to frequent backups, and I was using the school computers, but now my landlord has lent me a computer (he is a programmer and thus has several) until I get mine back.
