How's everybody coming along so far? I'm getting mightly close to the 30,000 mark and I'm trying to get ahead because I know I'll be pretty busy over Thanksgiving.

It's comming slow here. November has been rekindled 'Nightmare Month' for me! I will admit that I am trying.

First I got sick
Then I hit a brick wall
Then the laptop gitched and got fixed
Then I hit another brick wall
Then the destop melted down and took 3 hrs to fix.
And now the laptop needs a service call....

And I am still writing a bit every day!

I actually finished tonight. But I'm not done, because my story isn't over yet. LOL The pressure has left me though now that I'm over 50,000.

Hey! A Toledo forum! I don't really get on the message board too much.

Well, I am behind. I had to go out of town last week for five days and it was really stressful and I was unable to write, blah, blah, blah. I am going to make it a 5,000 word count day, and then I am going to worry about the upcoming holiday.

I am a tad bit behind --- like about 9,000 words, as of today. YIKES! I realize that I will need to have some marathon days but considering that I was almost 14k behind -- Friday was a marathon! I can do it!

Had a bunch of issues over the weekend including being sick but I think I am on the road to recovery. YAY!

Tuesday is to be a warm day so I will be working outside to finish up the last of the projects there.

So, when is the next meeting? Between conflicts and hitting a deer, I haven't made any of them, yet. I really do want to make at least one before the month is over.

Anyway, time is getting short. G'luck to you all.

I'm actually ahead by a bit, but I don't personally see it that way (everyone basically has to keep telling me I'm ahead, or else I freak out, heh.) But I'm going to keep at it, I guess. *sigh*

My congrats as well. I just hit 40,000 tonight (haven't reuploaded my word count). I didn't think I'd even make it this far let alone be ahead a tiny bit.

Is anyone trying for the 25th? (who hasn't already made it:)

Since I'm a newbie to NaNo, this may be an idiotic question, but what do the little gold halos mean?

Yep, made a donation. See the NaNoWriMo homepage for details on how to do that! :-)

As you can see, I'm more than a little behind the eight ball. I wrote over 6000 words on Monday, the bad news is none of them were for my NaNo project.

It was good to see everyone (all five of you :D) at the NaNo meeting on Tuesday....in a second I'll put up a new thread for next week's meeting....and then we need to settle on a "Thank God It's Over" get together date.

Last year or the year before we went to the Claddagh at Westfield Franklin Park. I'm all for that again....or any place on a Saturday where we might be able to get lunch and have a few laughs.

Give it some thought, mates.

Captain Liz
