I'm not planning to write that many words, but I'll be trying for at least 3K a day to make it.

The minimum I can afford to write this weekend is 6641 words.

I am aiming for 8000.

So far, I have written 3017.

If I write slightly less than 5500 I'll be done. I am going to do my best to finish at tomorrow's Writing Jam. Don't know how likely this is (my best day so far has been 2600) but it's worth a shot...

I unfortunately cannot commit to writing 20K this weekend as my dance card is very very full.

However, I cheer you on and commit to writing 30K this week :) I *will* finish!

I'm at the writing jam right now and am aiming for 6K today and 6K tomorrow!

No editing no surrender!

/and yes, I agree, the site is pathetic

I finally crossed the 40 000 words line! Only 10 000 words to go! I think I will be able to end this by the middle of the week (and I hope in time to be able to go for the meeting!)

Me too! Me too! I crossed that magical "Less than 10K left" line today as well!

(And I hit my goal of 8000 words this weekend - go me!)

I'm afraid, very afraid.... I gotta do 10k a day to make it... or a little under... but syntax is futile at this point!!!!

It's a good thing I'm unemployed.
