I hit 50K! And I did it before my self-imposed deadline - I wanted to reach it before the validators officially came online. The novel, of course, is far from finished, but it's well on its way!

I finished!! at just around 1 am this morning. I'm insane, but sadly I have papers to grade before I go back to work on Monday. And a book review to write for my class Tuesday that I haven't read. So I was determined to get finished with at least this.
And to add to the writing prompt help like interview your characters and so forth that I've seen on this site, I'll add this one. become the producer of a reality show that is your novel and see where you want your show to end. It changed my ending ... well, the ending I'll write in the future. I only finished the 50k

Congrats everyone on a job well done. I was up until 2 this morning, determined to get to 50k, and am now about to fall asleep b/c of it, but once sanity has returned (read December 1st) I can look at the novella and say, "EH, needs some work but it is down on paper."

I finished a few minutes ago - not just 50k, but the entire story - literally typing the last sentence as my oldest daughter threw up everything she's ever eaten in her entire life. (poor pookie is so sick. we may miss the TGIO if she doesn't improve.)

This wasn't my year it seems, although I was determined all the way until yesterday morning. (yeah, right....SURE! Twenty thousand in three days? Oh yeah...of course, uh huh, hmm hmm...huh?)
