Check it out, wrimos! The end is near!
To celebrate or just plain commiserate, let's get together at the Sports Grill in East Greenbush (Rensselaer), NY - located in the Holiday Inn Express plaza on Rt. 4 & 40.

Eat junk food! Or healthy food!

Come share the cameraderie - we few, we happy few (no, wait, someone else wrote that . . . . )

And let's write like fiends until then!!

2:00 p.m. on!

Sorry about that - listed it in the Events Calendar but not in the post! Cola powers must be . . . fading . . . .
Need . . . more caffeine . . . .

2 p.m. on Saturday, right?
(I just realized that Thursday is NOT the last day of the month. I think my caffeine rush has not only worn off but abandoned me in the middle of field in the dark, alone and confused.)
1,200 words every day for five and I'll be there. Unfortunately I only have a couple scenes left...hmm.

Wow - I'm really out of it! (that's what a few literary firefights will do to you . . . .)

Yes, Saturday 2:00 on!
See you there!

OMG, you're only 600 words away from finishing!!! However did you stop before hitting the big 5-0?

I've got 5,500 words to go but I'm going to make a big push and see how much I can get done tonight. I need a cushion, because I have to work til midnight on Friday!

See you Saturday.

It was agonizingly hard to go to bed last night - and in the middle of the big confrontation too!!
But even the obnoxious amounts of caffeine I go through can only push me so far . . . .

Looks like I'll finish up tomorrow night in the 52-53K range. It's all done except for the epilogue - and me singing, of course!

I'm such a sucker for semi-happy endings!

Looks like you and the others are zipping along too! Great job all!!!!!!!!

You've won, you've won! Hurray!
2,200 words left for me. Tomorrow night, I think.

Hello, I know it's a bit late for self-introductions but I'm the random person who showed up, and I figured I should say something for once instead of lurking all the time. I think I've managed to forget everybody's name already (though, oddly enough, I managed to remember/figure out a few usernames), so if there's a reading get-together sometime this month and you see me there, you'll have to reintroduce yourselves. *major embarrassment* It was really nice to meet you all!

I just thought I'd let everyone know that Heidi and I made it home safe and sound and in plenty of time for Heidi's Christmas party (I went too. ^_^). Marsha's directions were perfect! Thank you so much! *hugs for Marsha* *hugs all around*

Glad to hear it!

Had a wonderful time at the Victorian Stroll in Troy today! I should've suggested that as a great post-Nano activity, but I'm very glad I had someone else to handle the parallel parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was great having a final get together, and as soon as Kathleen gets out the list we all have to stay in touch via regular e-mail! Once a year isn't enough!!!!!!!!!

Marsha,

Could you please ask Kathleen to include me on the contact list? My email is RLDSR12@aol.com. I'm sorry Bob and I couldn't get to the party--we missed all of you! Would like very much to get together again with everyone. Congratulations to all and THANK YOU to Marsha for being our fearless leader!

I concur. Gigantic amounts of THANKS to Marsha for being such a great ML and keeping us all organized. :) I'm not normally a social person, but I had a fantastic time at all of our November gatherings and hope we can all keep in touch throughout the year.

Okay, everybody who gave me their info at the TGIO party now has a Full Contact List email winging there way. If you weren't at the party and want to be on the list (and aren't Robyn, who I added), then let me know and I'll add you. You can either bravely put your real name and email address on here, or you can email me (moorekd@hotmail.com).

Sorry it took so long. I have no excuse -- what, I can write 50,000 words in 30 days, but I can't send out an email in less than 48 hours?

I think we can all understand the desire to take a break from writing for a whole two days!
Thanks for taking on the task!
Now to put together a new mass-mail group . . . am working on the reading venue thing and will be in touch!
