I'm doing what I can to up our numbers! I finished my novel at 62,000 words and, after deciding against barrelling ahead into the sequel (it ends on kind of a cliffhanger), I went back and started to revise. I'm a putter-inner, so I was hoping I would be able to get up to 70,000 words. Looks like I left out more than I thought, as I'll probably hit 80K before I'm done. This will be my longest NaNo novel first-draft ever! :D

We're still at 55, but we've crept up to an average of 22,237 words per registered Okie.
There's 2 hours left in this month, and I'm expecting to see at least half a dozen of y'all go purple in that time.
Y'all can do it. Just a few words more, build up those fingerpad calluses and limber up those fingers for that last, gasping sprint.
