Last year it was at O'Charley's. I'm thinking Saturday evening--- somewhere. I'm completely open for suggestions... we'll probably want something capable of accommodating quite a few people, with a good price range (we don't want anyone to be priced out of enjoyment!).Children friendly would be good, since both of your MLs are encumbered with toddlers and there are a few younger/older children floating around who may be coming. A bar in the place is a nice perk, but not a must.

Warner Robins or Macon is fine; Last year it was WR; I'll do my best to make it either way.

Cheddars was fun, or maybe a pizza place. I'd be willing to go to Macon.

Still don't know when Miri's play is but I don't think it's next weekend.

Robin

Hmm. A pizza place. That has potential. I'd hate to just do the Pizza Hut round, though; we have such great pizza places around.

And Robin, we haven't decided. :) It'll be evening, I think, since most people are tied up for morning/early afternoon, but exact times are to be discussed right here. :)

hey, if you give them enough advance notice do you think we could like, rent out Ingleside Pizza for 2 hours? *grin* I LOVE that place.

LOL. I doubt a week is enough time to borrow it on a Sunday night, not to mention they'd probably want a deposit. ;) However, Ingleside Pizza is a great suggestion; I've heard it's really good, and have never been. I see nothing wrong with calling ahead with a big party!

We'll need a head count no matter what we decide, so we'll need everyone who is planning to come to let us know, and include how many guests (NaNo Widows/Widowers are of course welcome!) you'll be bringing.

i love inglside, but i would vote for another venue. it's small, and loud and hard to hold on conversation. although, they have amazing pizza.

I'll be most likely to be available on Saturday (the 1st!) around 7pm to wheneverish. Warner Robins would be best for me, but I will try my darndest to get to the TGIO no matter if it's in WR or Macon!

We're supposedly moving house on Friday and Saturday if everything continues to go well, but I'm hoping we'll only be actively moving stuff during daylight hours. So if I can't make it, that's why!

And not to offend anyone's taste buds, but since we're talking pizza currently, let's NOT go to My Father's Place. Their pizza is so gross. LOL!

Please make it on the 1st. I don't want to miss it, and have youth group on Sunday nite, and cannot leave my youts (yes i did say youts) in the lurch to come to a party.

Just name the place and time and i will be there.

Cheddars' was cool, but did not have the ambiance, with having an l shaped table. I would suggest sumplace that can get all the tables together in a square, but i dunno.

My wife and I are 2 that you can count in if it is anytime after 6.

9230 to go, and i am seeing the finish line.

YAY!

I'm sure it'll be the 1st; Sundays are usually busy times for our group, I've learned.

What about Bia's over there on Vineville? I know they are a bit on the pricier side, but I don't know if they have appetizers or whatnot that are cheaper. I know they're good, and the atmosphere isn't that rowdy (though I've never been at peak times, so I'm not sure about a Saturday evening)

Also, let's not completely discount the old Pizza Hut. There isn't anything inherently evil about it; just deciding which ONE!

What about the Pizza Huts near the Peach Outlets in Byron? It's a good compromise between Macon and Warner Vegas folks.

That's actually not a bad suggestion; of all the Pizza Huts I've been to, it's the one where I've had the fewest bad experiences with crappy service. ;)

What does everyone else think? It's right off the interstate, so wouldn't require a lot of complicated driving.

I am also totally going to win this thing. For realz yo. I can't show my face to you guys if I don't get my purple bar :O

6:30pm at Pizza the Hutt in Byron - check.
now - how does the perpetually lost pagan GET there?
(daughter has finally stopped throwing up, and actually held down some saltines, so we should be there without problem IF I don't get lost.)
I'm so excited still about finishing!

Okay!

You're going to hop on 75, and head to Byron. :) I cannot for the life of me remember the exit number or name, but if you're coming southbound, you'll see the big peach and peach outlets right before you get there.

Get off on the Byron exit. If you're going Southbound, you'll turn left. If you're going Northbound, you'll turn right.

Pizza Hut is just a little bit down the road, on the left. If you pass the Peach Outlets entrance, you've gone too far, and will need to turn around. That road leads to my part of town. :)

Looks like I won't be able to make it to the TGIO - friends of ours have planned a wedding for Saturday, and there's just no way to make it between Macon and Byron and still be on time for all of the wedding stuff.

Hope you all have fun, though!
