Gale told me to make this thread yesterday.
Last year, Gale, Viorica, and I (Clair, too, usually)got together once a month and had 'write-ins' (actually we just sat around Gale's house talking, mostly).
This year, though, there are a lot more people interested in getting together (and anyone whose ever been to one knows) and we were talking about getting together after November as just a writer's group and encourage each other on our writing projects we are doing over the year.
So, this thread is to discuss meeting times and places for those of us who are interested!

I was going to suggest Sunday afternoons as well.
Welestra and I are planning, in December, on meeting with the Arts Hamilton rep to see about us getting sponsorship from them so that we would qualify for free space at the library. But, until then, where would we like to meet? I think we've out-grown my living room. Shall we stay at Infusions? Or would you prefer something different?

Infusions seems to be okay for staying with... it's convenient for most of us to get to, I think, and a nice ambience. (Except for the low lights and repetitive music, but one can't have everything.) :)

Yay, I'm glad to see that we're going to keep in touch after Nano is finished.
I'm available weekday evenings after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
As for a place, although I like Infusions, perhaps we should venture out a bit (and start searching for other possible meet-up locations for next November).
I seem to recall someone at the write-in two weeks ago mentioning another cafe that was better lit and had internet access... (mind you, I'm sure the reason why I get a lot of writing done at Infusions is because there is no internet!!)
