... Will be 2nd December in Derby
Can you let us know if you are interested so we know how many people to expect. At the moment we're thinking of Vines in the evening (or maybe the new Mexico next door to Bar Lisi?? What do you think?)

TGIO will be at Pizza Express at 6pm. RSVP so we know how many to expect.
We were going to do something a little earlier in the day, hopefully this will give people a chance to get over their hangovers (I'm looking at Chele)

PS Anyone got a sofa for Shav? I'm at work after, otherwise you could have slept at mine.
Shame you're not at Ripley, could have got you a lift to there.

Unfortunately, I'll be unable to attend due to other plans. But then, I want another month since my word count is appalling! I wish you all a lovely time!
I've enjoyed this month, it did get me back into writing, even if I didn't finish my novel, and I want to continue, so, could someone tell me more about Scribes and if I could attend?
Oh, I'll try to do better next year!

Of course you can attend Scribes. All are welcome.
We meet on the first and third Mondays of the month at Bar Lisi. 7.30pm until 9.30/10pm.
The members are from different writing backgrounds, writing in all forms and all genres. We're mainly discussion based and have opportunities most meetings for readings and feedback. Or you can just give your work to someone else to get feedback if you want it. Subs are £1 (though no one says anything if you don't pay) and all proceeds will be used to get the anthology printed up in February/April. If you attend regularly you are more than welcome to submit something to get published.
The next meeting is this monday (3rd December), I'm running the session. Discussion on how to plan your story.
The session after that is 17th December. This one is more a social session where everyone is invited to bring something along to read to the rest of the group, your favourite poem or short story to get us in the mood for Christmas.
If you email derbyscribes@googlemail.com, Dan, Mark or myself will add you to the mailing list.

I won't be able to make anything 'til the evening, as the 2nd happens to be my mum's birthday and we're having a family meal, obv.
So if you guys and gals are doing anything after pizza express I'll be there for sure.

Yes, I was going to suggest moving on to The Standing Order afterwards, someone else is meeting us there who can not attend the meal.

I'll be coming but I'm still not entirely sure how I'm supposed to RSVP. I'm a bit useless, you see! All I know is "tell the ML in one way or another" XD
