Hello Bay-Area Wrimos,

The hard part is about to be over, and we hope you'll join us for the fun part! Celebrate your newly written novels by attending our TGIO party! It will be held at Root Division—a gallery in San Francisco—on December 1 from 7 PM – 10 PM. Bring 2 one-page long excerpts (the larger the font size the better) from your newly finished works. We'll have readings, refreshments, and rejoicing!

See you there!

Should we bring excerpts to read, too? Will there be an open mic?

This year's TGIO is the 5th anniversary of me and Antwon's 0th date! WOO! Best. Anniversary party. Evar.

Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Is there anyone willing to carpool? I can drive if anyone wants company (4 people) or if anyone needs company I'm up for that, too!

I'm interested in carpool as well, though I have a memorial service to go to Saturday afternoon. So it all depends on the timing.

Sounds like there will be an opportunity for people who want to read an excerpt out loud. If you're interested in reading, bring something 1-2 minutes long, practice reading through it at least once at home, and time it. If you haven't read aloud before, you may be surprised at just how little text it takes to fill 2 minutes!

Whoo! I'm purple! Check eet owwt. *ahem*

So I'll be heading up there like... an hour before? To allow time for traffic, parking, and not being the first one there?

My car will comfortably seat three passengers, and not-quite-so-comfortably four. I'll throw that in the bucket of carpoolage to be drawn out when folk want. Passengers be warned that I have no radio. I might set up my laptop to play music. We shall see.

So! See you all there! And stuff!
