Here is what the counter says:

"Note: The Word Count Validator is now LIVE. From now until 11:59:59 PM local time on November 30th, if you paste a 50,000+ word manuscript into the word counter, you will become an official NaNoWriMo winner, and will be taken to the special winner's page to collect your winner certificate."

Note that it says LOCAL time. :o)

We used local time last year and it was right.

If you set the time zone on your profile to Alaska time, then midnight will roll around... on midnight. How convenient. =D Good luck on your writing! 50k is just a hop away!
