I hope everyone has had an enjoyable and fruitful NaNoWriMo this year!

I know I did!

It was exciting to see what has bene in my head come together and turn into a story of which I am very proud. I am actually done, a day early. Tomorow at this time I will be about 2 hours into a julefrokost that will go until Saturday morning...

Are any others done?

If not, what are you using to inspire you through the next 28 hours?.........

Jeg er lige blevet færdig, og det er første gang, jeg deltager, men ikke den sidste. Det er en skøn følelse. Held og lykke til dem, der kæmper med de sidste ord.

Last night I crawled over the 50,000 word mark and it felt great. It's actually felt great all week because it seemed more and more possible to reach the goal.

After a good night's sleep it feels kind of strange. It still feels great, but it also, somehow, feels like there's something missing. I'll definitely write a little more today to try and tie up a loose end or two in the story, but perhaps it's the fact that I no longer "have to" write that feels strange?

Anyway, it's been a great and inspiring month and I will definitely do my best to join next year as well!

Cheers,
Skjalm

Det er forrygende - it´s blooming marvellous.
Got done thursday around ½ past 10 and went to work half an hour later, my head in the clouds. Came back, and had the strange experience of falling down: no novel obligation! Shal have to join again next november.

Hej danske deltagere !

I hope you will return in 2008, too...and congrats! I look forward to November every year now. It is an exciting way to start the holiday season for me. I come off the high of NaNoWriMo and ride into Advent/Christmastide

Congrats Maria and see you next year!

It IS strange to not have the "obligation" anymore, but nice. I went to a juelfrokost that lasted form Friday evening into Saturday morning and it s nice to know I was done with my novel. NOw off toe editing! Will you join NaNoEdMo?

But wasn't that 19,000 more words than you have EVEYR written before for your novel? Congratulations on that! See you next year!

I finished again this year just over the 50,000 word mark with one day to spare and now I have a big mess to contend with. Ah well, next goal: rewrite! Is anyone planning to revise their manuscripts? If so, is anyone interested in forming a remote within Denmark writer's group? I live in Billund, speak bad Danish (but I am learning, just over 4 months in the language school so far). I would enjoy the sharing and support, even if I am not qualified to edit Danish at the moment. I thought perhaps it might be a way to talk about the process of revision and its particular challenges.

Which reminds me, the new section on the website called 'I Wrote A Novel, Now What?' is great and encouraging.

I have to also say that I am deeply impressed by Elskede's word output. Amazing and Tillykke igen!

Bedste hilsner alle sammen,

Nina (a.k.a. Aurelia)
