Has anyone found that there are certain words or phrases that they keep using throughout their story? I seem to be overly fond of describing people's "tone of voice" with this story, although I have no idea why.

My narrator's always scoffing "Of course." Which is an okay character attribute, I suppose, except my LAST narrator did it too.

Lots of things in my novel seem to be considerable or certain/sure. But meh, I'm happy anyway since I've severely cut down on the instances where I describe emotion through eyes, which was about half my novel last year.
