So, now what happens?

Well, I'm sure you've spent the last week or so in a giddy whirl, utterly exhausted. I'd say I attempted to kick my caffeine addiction, except I discovered they make Monster drinks as big as my head, and I've been working till 530 in the morning now, so yeah, caffeine addict!

What about writing? If you're interested in keeping up on it, and a group in the offseason, we're currently experimenting with the Microsoft Office Groove program (it's a new thing for office 2007... Which is VERY shiny, and very useful so far). If you have (or go install) this program, and want to be a part of this critique/support bunch, drop me a pm/email (either at the one in my sig or my username at gmail dot com) with the email address you're using there so I can invite you. (yes, Lacey and Patty, THIS MEANS YOU. XD)

What about socializing? This group got along really well this year... And so since you guys demanded it at the tgio, the first Sunday evening of each month will be a social, at some random place. Exact locations will be announced on this forum about a week prior to each event. Feel free to suggest places. Let's try to keep them in the areas between ~I10 and 281, please!

The first social will be January 7 at 7pm, anyone have any prefs for food types?

As far as Tshirts go. If you haven't posted updated versions of the ones I requested changes on, please do so. I will set up a Deviant Art account specifically for gathering them all together under one umbrella for people to snag for their cafepress/zazzle shirts (personally, once I get my holiday money, I'm going to order at least one from Zazzle I think. I was really impressed with their customer service when I dealt with them a few years ago)

Other than that? Be good, or evil, as your preference is.. Have fun. And don't hesitate to contact me/chatter on the forum whenever. I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off still, but I always love talking with you guys. XD
Any other questions/

For next year--yes I'll be back next year and I think I already know what I'm going to be writing--we should definitely use Frappr to coordinate where everyone is and find a good place to meet.

Also, if anyone is interested in a sort of bronze-age King Arthur meets The Lord of the Flies type story, I could use some readers when I finally finish it. I've still got another 50k to write then a bunch of editing to do so give me a good 3 to 6 months (depending on how distracted I get with other things).

Finally, I know someone looking for writers for an anthology whose theme is "Zombies in Space" so if anyone is interested, email me at japartridge [at] gmail [dot] com.

Ugh. -dies- I've written maybe 1k since November 30. I just haven't been motivated or cared to write, even though I still have FOREVER to go in my plot. :(

I don't know that I've even written that much. The only thing I have done, I have worked on my outline a bit. I still have sooo much ground to cover. I'm probably not going to get much accomplished until after Christmas, but I'm going to try and take some extra time off, so who knows...

Still writing here. And then (January? I hope?) going back to re-outline and re-focus and edit. Fun all over!

What's helping me keep on track is a goal spreadsheet (added a new tab to my NaNo sheet) and not wanting to break the streak. 39 days so far. :D

Now maybe I need a spreadsheet for sleep?

I'm definitely up for some socials (I prefer Chinese food, btw). And I'll for sure be doing it again next year -- possibly the sequel to this year's novel. As for what I've written since the 30th, that would be nothing. I needed to let my brain reboot so that I could come at it fresh. I'll have to add at least another 20k to finish the story, though, and it'll probably be more like 30k.

I'm interested in getting a read-through of my finished draft, as well. Perhaps we should plan a few read-ins?
