I know there's an option to search the forum to see if something has already been posted, but for the life of me I can't find it. Making it more obvious via a link or a search box would be a *huge* help!

Actually, the forum search is currently disabled. :) It should be back soon (it's at the top of the priority list)
There's a sticky about it in Tech Help: Author and Forum Search [Sometimes] Disabled
