How Can We Make this Year's Kingston Nanowrimo the Best Ever?

Hi Everyone,

With Nano month fast approaching, it would be nice to know how many of the over 111 writers subscribed to the Kingston forum are planning on participating this year. So far I've heard from a few people, but I'm guessing not everyone.

Also, I would like to organize a kick-off gettogether either on Nov 1 or a few days before so newcomers and oldtimers can meet, as well as write-ins during the month etc. These are great for motivation and enhancing your word counts. Last year Saturdays at Chapters worked for some, but does anyone have ideas to share?

In addition, if anyone would like to help spread the word, it would be most appreciated. I'm sure Kingston has a lot of potential wrimos who just haven't heard of the contest yet. Since this is the 10th anniversary of nanowrimo, it would be great to bring new people on board.

Those of us who are planning on tackling the momentous goal of 50,000 words....while also attending lectures, doing readings, and writing coutless extra thousands of words on top of that for our classes!

I'm a Queen's student here in K-Town. Anyone else? St Lawrence? RMC? Queen's, which is the place to be?
Let's see who else is as crazy as we are! Maybe set up some Student Writing-Centre times =D
