I am very excited that I am finally commiting to a story. (I hadn't really written until this November, and then after there was this huge void of non-writing, followed by the starting and then ignoring of at least six stories, but I think I may have conquered my short attention span). I have always wanted to write Sci Fi and I think I have a good start for a space opera, but I need some advice. I want to name the pirate's androgenous android IOTA, but I want it to stand for something. So far I have Intelligent Omnipurpose Tech-Supported Android, but I think it could use some improvement. Also, on a whim I decided to name his iguana Macheavelli (is that spelled right?), but as I haven't actually read any Macheavelli, I don't know if it is really appropriate. Any thoughts? Sorry for being so long-winded.

I'm going to move this over to the SciFi forum instead of the Critique & Novel Swap since it's about a Work In Progress.
