That's right everyone!! I have finished my novel. And with only about 10,000 words of crap! Which makes for one damn fine 50,000 word NaNo novel! WOO HOO!!!

I AM SO AMAZING!!!!!

Here's my story (not my novel story silly)

When I started this novel 2 months ago (Feb 1) I had my mom and one of my friends doing it with me (which I was amazed at since I don't hang out with writers). My mom stagnated at 16,000 words (she was writing nonfiction which I'll admit is way harder since I think she really was running out of ideas) and my friend stopped dead in his tracks after 6,500 words. I tried hard to get them both to keep trying and to not give up hope! But to no avail.

And now here I stand, victorious once again. Another 60,000 words under my belt. And my friend? *Shakes head* He couldn't do it. And my mom? She says she will finish one day. She is optimistic I guess.

This is my second novel and it's way better than the first. I like it way more, but it's still not very good when compared to published books. The plot feels contrived. And it doesn't have a good ending. It's sort of like one event after another until I got to 60,000 words. I'll have to work on that somehow for future novels... Maybe more planning. With more thought I could have come up with a better plot I think. But I got lazy I think.

Now it's time for a nice long break from novel writing where I enjoy not having to do my word count every day. (Although after my first novel, I didn't last 3 weeks before I was writhing around because I needed to write another novel). I hope I can at least last until school is over. I don't want to start another one right before finals!!! I will probably write one during the summer. I have a few ideas written down. I have one specifically for nanowrimo about my kitty (Mitzie) being "the chosen one." hehe I could have fun with that. But who knows?

I feel like I just finished my last novel (three months ago I did) and I'm already doing the bragging to everyone bit again. hehe! I loved typing The End. I typed it like this: ~The End~ and I centered it and made it bigger. That was on the 121st page (single spaced). Pretty cool huh??

I've always wanted to write a novel and now I've written 2 in the span of 4 months! I feel like I can just whip these things out! I have tons of idea, but I can write them all!!! (Actually my ideas are pretty stupid, but I like them).

WEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY FOR NOVELWRITTING!!!! I'VE WRITTEN MULTIPLE NOVELS. Yes, that's right. I've written a few. I don't know, I've lost count ;p hehehehehehe!!!!!!!!

Hurray for me!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

That's cool. I hope to finish my novel soon. But I'll be giving it a break during April for Script Frenzy.

Well, here's to your next one!

What's it going to be about?

Congratulations! That's impressive. Like you said, it doesn't matter if what you've written is absolute crap, you finished it! *claps*

Mine is over 100,000 words for the first draft, completed the first day of NaNoEdMo. Now I no longer care how many words it's got as long as I can get the second draft finished. I hope to do so this month.
