Hey guys. I was just hoping that if I post this new thread, people will start coming back and we can continue throughout the whole year, instead of just one month. Also, maybe we can have a better turn out for the next meet up!!! Sadly, we only had four people show up!! So come on, let's get these meet ups back into the double digits!! :)

How's your writing coming along? Are you slogging through it? Is your muse MIA? Have you just given up completely?
How are you doing?!

I'm continuing to write, even if it's killing me. Or, trying to at any rate. Anyway, let's start using this site more!! HUZZAH!

It's sort of the opposite end of the year from nano, so maybe that's why people haven't been around as much. For those of us who are students, it's of course the end of winter semester, with the associated business. Also, the new location for the meetups is harder for me to make it to than the old ones.

As for my writing! My nanonovel has been placed firmly on hold since I wrapped it up. I'm working on finish an unrelated novel that i've had in the works for a couple years. That novel has been finished for a while, it's just undergoing endless editing and rewrites, although I hope to finally finish with that this month, after which I guess i'll start sending it to publishers so it can get rejected! I might pick up my nanonovel afterwards, or I might start writing something else. I'm not sure.

I'd be curious if anyone else is still hacking away at their nanonovel.

I've been missing chatting with you guys. Incidentally ... am I the only one the chat isn't working for anymore?

At any rate, I want to be completely honest with anyone from the Nano group who will read this. I feel bad for not showing up to the meetings any more. It is something I quite enjoyed the first time, and really do want to go to. I've been dealing with a particularly bad bout of depression along with other related anxiety/ocd issues. These have been there for years, but have flared up particularly bad in the last several months.

As such... my muse is MIA definitely... or... partially. I think I still get some decent ideas, I just haven't had the energy or the will to bring them into being. So writing has definitely been on hold for me.

I'm sorry that I haven't been there for the group and the meetings. As soon as I am feeling well enough to handle it, I will be there again.

Rei,

Are you going to the right address? You need to go to http://chatnano.net and click through to get to the correct location. I've fallen down on the job, but soon (I hope!) there'll be a link from the old location right to the new location.

Take the time you need. We'll all be here when you get back, no worries! :)
