Hi, Everybody!
I have finished the second edit of my first NaNo novel, "Flowbeard's Parrot," and after I get the courage to read it myself and finish filling in the plot holes I will need someone to read it and tell me if it "works."
I would gladly read and offer my thoughts on someone else's novel, in exchange. I think I saw a post a long time ago about writers who were willing to trade and read each other's novels, but I haven't been able to find it again.
"Flowbeard's Parrot" is a ghost story/pastiche set in the spacious grounds of Lord Fearfax Community College (formerly Lord Fearfax Castle). I think it would appeal to readers in the 45+ age bracket, or anyone who likes the old TV shows on Nick at Night. Most of my ghosts are characters in '50s sit-coms.
As far as novels to trade, I like to read anything except romance/overly religious, and I can't get past the first "F" word in any genre.
Thanks!
Bonnie!
