Hi Everyone! I have volunteered as an ML and I'm just waiting for the confirmation of my region, so meanwhile, I'll shout out to everyone in my county.

I'm hoping for a meeting with everyone interested in October, well before NaNo, as a welcome and get together. New Hope had an active bunch last year, so I'm looking to that area as a point to start.

Also, this year, October 31st falls on a Friday! How many would be interested in a midnight kick off? Please let me know so I can scout out places and find one that will be writer friendly.

Hopefully your ML,
Merrihart

*waves*, I'm in Montco, but I'm at times close enough to parts of Bucks county for anything.

New Hope, PA here. At the moment I'm in Austin, TX, but I'll be back for a kickoff-type event.

Ok, I'm going to do a little scouting this coming weekend. Would anyone like to meet me at Starbucks on South State St either the 10th or 11th around 7 p.m.?

This is purely to see if the atmosphere and "side room" are conducive to a kick-off and write-in. They aren't open past 11 on the weekend, so our kick-off would not include writing this year.

Vote for the day you would like the kick-off:

Saturday, 10/25 7 p.m. or later
Sunday, 10/26 in the afternoon
Friday, 10/31 8 p.m.

Is that the one in Doylestown? Or is there a different South State st?

I've got plans this weekend though. But if you do something later on, I might be able to attend.

Oh, sorry. Newtown. 100 S State St, Newtown.

Because in my preliminary survey last month I had 3 responses from Newtown and 1 response from Feasterville.

We have our own region forum! http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3017767

Please use that for any further communication. I'll continue to look on both boards, but we should keep our region specific chat to our own board. :D
