Hey!

This is Eika, signing in from Plymouth State University! First year here, but this'll be my fourth NaNo. I'm doing a crazy series on a group of kids in a school that's connected to another world they must keep secret. It's YA, fantasy, and guaranteed to be fun!

Where are you writing from?

Hi everyone.

Nashua newbie here. I can't wait to get started. Of course at 39 you would think I would have tried it before now.

Are there ever any New Hampshire Region Nano meetings for support? Just curious.

Hey JChoas!
Welcome! I was 54 when I did my first NaNo, so you're way ahead of the game!

We have quite a few "write-ins" in the area. Barnes and Noble and Borders are popular meeting places - among others. I'll put up a Calendar and people can get together on the forum and arrange things too. So you should have plenty of opportunities to give and get support!

Nashua, of course! This is my second NaNoWriMo, but I'll be around for a ton more. Well... maybe not. I may be somewhere else. But hopefully still in New Hampshire!

Hi all,
Out here in the woods of Hillsborough. With a job that has me all over Southern NH almost on a daily basis.
4th year Nano. This year I quit smoking so I /KNOW/ that I can finish. Well that and that I told everyone I know and will be massively busted on for the next year if I don't finish. That and the nifty voice software since my hands started screaming at me when I tried to learn to touch type over the summer.

Mostly I'll be writing from Townsend, MA, but some of it will be happening at my workplace in Milford, NH! This will be my third year.

Nashua baby. This is my... third Nano? *thinks* Yeah, my third. I'm not sure the final details of mine yet, but it focuses around three sisters, the eldest the do-gooder who's trying to get by, the youngest is a spoiled brat who's Mommy and Daddy's princess, and the middle is a loner who finds her place with a coven of vampires and witches.

Hi everyone, I'm coming from Lebanon, N.H.... Any other Upper Valley writers participating this year? This is my first NaNoWriMo but I think I have a good story worked out so we'll see how it goes!

I'm in Keene gearing up for my third NaNo. ^_^

I've got no idea why I do this to myself every year, but I love it too much to stop!

I'm writing from Milford, NH. This is my second year and I'm hoping I'll get a better plot this time! Anyone else from Milford High School here?

Hello, fellow writers! This is my 3rd year at NaNo, and I hail from the town of Acworth. = ) Acworth's quite small, near the border of Vermont, and almost entirely hidden inside the great forests of New Hampshire. Points to anyone who's heard of it.

Lnitefall here checking in, this is my fifth year for WriMo, haven't managed to hit 50 yet, but hopefully this year nothing will pop up and get in my way. I tend to haunt Concord Borders (even before WriMo) and lately can also be found around the SNHU Manchester area as well.

really I'm not at borders as often anymore, but I work at Snhu. What are the odds?

Edit hmm, perhaps posting something about myself again (since the crash ate my last one) would help.

I won last year with 26000 on my first story and 50000 on my backup story that I started nine days before close.

I wrote 5 scripts for script frenzy in april for a total of around 500 pages give or take and over 100000 words.

Then in august I made myself write 31 short stories in 31 days for charity. Most of which is written by pen and in the last week.

I'm also working on no less then 24 Big Fun Scary Challenges, and making good progress.

This Nano I plan to finish one novel and possably more though I will only say one for sure.

Gotta go. Snhu labs close in a bit and I gotta do something before that happens.

hello my name is Dulcamatrix and i'm a NaNoholic... from the backwoods of Lyndeborough NH.
home of five stopsigns, three cops, a renegade snowplow guy and NO traffic lights. (wait... do blinking lights count?!)

this is my third year and i'm raring to go.
last year i went manic during the first week and punched out over 51,000 words in thirteen days.
oh yes i did!

then i slept for the rest of the month.
ha.

any others from the Milford/Wilton/Lyndeborough area?

Hi MittensInSummertime!

Welcome back! I understand that the Milford Library is having NaNoWriMo doings this year. If don't know about that already, you should check it out!

@ Uyanga: Ah, you're from Charlestown! = ) That's pretty neat; can't say I was expecting to meet another NaNo-er that close to my own town.

I am in Salisbury MA, right on the NH border, so I'd be happy to see a write-in on the seacoast around Seabrook and Portsmouth. This will be my 4th NaNo.

Londonderry

First timer this year. Not sure I can write 50 words in a month, let alone fifty thousand, but I am going to go down trying. Heck, what have I got better to do in November?
