As usual, I'm late to the party! Between real-life drama and the annual Nanowrimo web site crash, it's been hard for me to post- but I made it!

I know we have some returning Wrimos from last year and I hope we get some new ones. I'm planning a kick-off party and several write-ins, and like last year, I hope to stagger the write-in locations between the library, Something Brewing and San Fransisco Bread Company. If there are any other places that people would like to see added, please let me know.

One thing I did want to get out of the way is an October Plot Workshop. We did one last year and it went really well. Is anyone interested in doing another one this year?

I hope everyone is bursting with plot ideas!

It is always great to get together and bounce ideas before the maddness of NaNo starts. I enjoyed the plot workshop we had last year and would love to attend another this year.

I'm up for meetings this year! The evil day job is no more. I'm writing fulltime for a while then I'll decide whether I'm going back to work.

I'd love to do a plotting workshop. I have the basic idea and I'm traditionally a pantser. However, I want the synopsis and query letter written. I want it in the mail before the end of October! Talk about incentive to write fast! *cackle*

Hope to see everyone soon!

Would love to attend a plot workshop this year! Let me know when, and I'll see if I can work it around the grandkid!

Don't know if I can make it, but I'm interested. It's not much of a drive from Clinton.

I can probably make it. Seeing how as I'm in Conway five days a week, I might as well come to some of your events! I'd love to come to the Plot Workshop--I missed it last year.

Okay- this is my third time trying to type this up! My window keeps closing!

How is October 18 for the workshop. Last year we held it at the library and that seemed to work well but if we can't get the room, we can always look for alternate locations.

Hi everyone! I'm from Central Arkansas, but for now am living in Austria, at least until the middle of November.

I'm really glad to get the emails, though I'm afraid I won't be able to attend any of the activities in Conway.

I wasn't even going to participate this year, but my German boyfriend insists that I do. So....I guess I'm in!

Good luck everyone!

Is there anyone participating from any of the colleges here in Conway? Last year, as I recall, we had several.

Yes! I posted a little something on a previos thread, but it must have been lost in the shuffle.

Each November Monday night from 6:00-8:00, a group of us is meeting at UCA in Thompson Hall. Monday's writing went beautliffuly - ten showed up! We'll be meeting again next week at the same time,in the Writing Center of Thompson Hall. It's at the corner of Donaghey and College.
