Anybody in Randolph County?

I live in Randolph County! I'm also in the Writer's Group of the Triad, and will be joining some November write-in events in Greensboro (see the thread under this N.C. region). Feel free to join us - you don't have to be a member. Are you in the northern part, the Asheboro part, or the southern part? There's a writer's group in Asheboro, but I don't know if they'll be involved in nanowrimo.

Hey, I live in Randolph, too! In the Asheboro part, specifically. I'm not involved with the writer's group here, though. Considering my frequent commutes to Greensboro, I'd actually opt for a write-in there. :)

And, look, we all joined on October fifth! But I joined in 2006.... Regardless, strange coincidence, yes?

I'm in Liberty, but I am not involved in any of the writing groups anywhere. I tend to write better alone.

Okay, I'm not really in Randolph County, but I'm just 2 miles below the county line in Montgomery. I go up to Asheboro often since my youngest son, his wife,and my grandson live there and that's where some of my doctors are. Also go to some stores there for things I can't get in Montgomery County (aka The Boondocks).

Not with a writing group now, but I was with the Goldsboro Writers Group for a number of years back when I lived in Wayne County. I've been in Montgomery County, though, since 1986; there's no writing group here as far as I know.

I am in Archdale-- Good Luck-- I would like to meet with some area writers and perhaps form our own group-- if not duirng NaNoWriMo, then after. Laura Cashatt
