I'm spending the month of October researching and putting lots of notes together about the book I'm going to write. In the past, I've completed two manuscripts, neither of which have sold, but I've learned from both of them. There's about ten unfinished manuscripts from the last time I completed one, but I've not had the energy or commitment to finish those.

Writing mostly at home (Winter Park) but occasionally at the Park Avenue Starbucks, mostly before or after Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, sometimes on Sunday afternoon. We have 3 erratic schedules and 1 car, so life is mostly improv. If you happen to see me, say hi. I'll be at an outside table with my Japanese Chin and I'll be writing longhand in a notebook (college age son has dibs on the computer and after the Great Compy Crash of 2007 I decided to get everything down longhand first-plus I can't procrastinate that way).

I'm never sure what really qualifies as YA. I've been told by someone who considers themselves an authority that YA is when the main protagonists are high school age. The main protagonists in what I'm writing for NaNo are around college age, so I'm not sure. I know when I was in college I didn't consider myself an adult.
I'm just considering it "Fantasy" given two of them are werewolves. *shrugs*
As for other things. I'm not in Orlando specifically. I'm in Lake County on the very North end. Any groups I'm in are online. The household is too broke to drive anywhere that's not an absolute necessity.
