Hey everyone in Washington and Benton counties, plus NaNo'ers close enough to consider being in our subgroup, here is some news:
We are in the Arkansas :: Elsewhere region for now. Consider also joining Arkansas :: Fort Smith (click on Regions, type Arkansas in the search field and Submit, then Join on the Fort Smith line) but also stay in Elsewhere, our home base. Fort Smith has a dynamic group and you all might like to drive down there for some of their events, listed in its Region Forum.
At the top of the Elsewhere page there is "Check your Official Northwest Arkansas Calendar of Events" which links to our NWA calendar. I will keep that updated.
We also have a NWA NaNoWriMo Facebook group:

Our first meeting will be Sunday 19 October, but I want to hear from people who'd like to come in order to set the best time and the ideal espresso joint.
Time: My thinking is either 3-5 p.m. or 7-9 p.m.
Place: (A) The Perk on Wedington in Fayetteville, (B) Panera in Fayetteville for 3-5 p.m. only, (C) RZ's on the UA campus, or (D) Arsaga's, but the one on Crossover or Gregg?

I'm fairly certain I can make it to a meeting on the 19th. I'm also moving this weekend, but with luck the worst of it will be over by early Sunday afternoon!
My vote is for The Perk, 7-9 pm. I've only been there once, but thought it was pretty snazzy.
