Yay! You'll have to forgive me if I do something stupid, I'm new at this. But I'd love to have a get together soon. However, I don't think I've ever been to the OK Cafe. I live in Richwood actually, but this one was the one closest to me...plus there were less people so I thought it would be more fun that way. So if I'd need directions to it, if we have it there.

Not knowing your starting location here are general directions from Richwood, Ohio to the restaurant:

1: Start out going EAST on W OTTAWA ST/ OH-47 toward S FRANKLIN ST/ OH-37.

2: Turn LEFT onto N FRANKLIN ST/ OH-37/ OH-47.

3: Turn RIGHT onto E BLAGROVE ST/ OH-47. Continue to follow OH-47.

4: Turn LEFT onto OH-4/ OH-47. Continue to follow OH-4.

5: Turn RIGHT onto W WALNUT ST/ OH-4 N/ OH-423 S.

6: Turn LEFT onto DELAWARE AVE/ S STATE ST/ OH-4/ OH-423. Continue to follow S STATE ST/ OH-4 N/ OH-423 N.

7: Turn RIGHT onto E CHURCH ST/ OH-309 E/ OH-95 E. Continue to follow E CHURCH ST/ OH-309 E.

8: Turn LEFT onto SARGENT ST/ OH-309 W.
9: Turn RIGHT onto E CENTER ST/ OH-309.
10: End at 734 E Center St Marion, OH 43302

I haven't found out yet if I have to work, which I should be finding out this Saturday. I would love to join the kick off. I hope I can make it either the 1st or the 2nd, no matter what day it is!

Just let me know which of those two nights is best for you. I live relatively close to the OK, so its not an issue of getting there for me. Time wise we may be talking dinner time (around 6-ish) as I will have kidlets in tow and I believe they have to leave the restaurant by 9. For now I'm gonna plan like its just the 3 of us, if more people show up...great. Makes it easier to put together those goodie bags. I'm just not gonna make a huge production of it :-D

Either is fine with me. I have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday free every week.

I looked for my schedule for Saturday and Sunday November 1st and 2nd. And it hasn't come out yet. I am hoping that it will today or Tuesday so I can plan this. Retail jobs can be a real pain in the bum at times!

If I can make it on the 1st. I might bring my guy friend with me. He just joined NANO because I was doing it, but he doesn't live in Marion. He lives in Mansfield area, but he might want to just sit in because that is where I will be. :o) I have an admirer and we discuss alot of my ideas for novels and such, so he would enjoy the little get together as much as I would.

I am hoping that I get both days off, but the chances might be slim, but I will see if I can find someone to work for me if I have enough time to do so. :o)

I WILL keep you posted. It iwll be so fun to meet you all finally. Last year was a bomb for me, because I couldn't make any meetings.

Ok let me know, sounds like the first will be better then if you don't have to work. So unless something comes up in the meantime that changes it I think I will plan on Saturday the 1st at around 6pm. I will be wearing my ungodly dayglow NaNoWriMo ML shirt.

I found out that Sunday November 2nd will work for me. I just found out. I get off work at 6:15 p.m. so it might just take a me couple minutes to get across town to the OK, since I work at the mall.

Saturday I have to work, unless I am able to find someone to work with me, which might be hard since it is retail. But Sunday works for me.

Please let me know if that is ok or not.

Ya don't have to bring anything special unless you'd like to attempt some noveling, but this place is kinda noisy in the evenings and isn't quite the best place. As for write ins later, those we can organize on shorter notice if you two will give me a few days heads up on when is a good time for you. I'm a stay at home mom, and I like having excuses to get outta the house :)

Hehe, I have school at OSUM every Monday-Thursday, and then nothing else on my schedule. So I'm free whenever you want me. Hey, Sarcristia, do you happen to work at the bookstore? If you do I might know you. Actually, if you work at the mall I probably know you anyway since I go there after school most days.

No, I don't work at the bookstore, but I am known there, because I buy alot of books..lol. I actually work at Elder Beerman. I work in the shoe department selling shoes and sometimes I am in the Accesories department, chatting with the women in Cosmetics. LOL. I really dread November not because of NaNoWriMo, but because of the holiday rush - that is if we get one this year.

I am happy that I am going to be able to make it on November 2nd. I am so excited. I missed out on the meetings last year.

I didn't see this until this morning when I started posting my numbers. I've done this since 02, and never once have I won. This year I intend to go all the way. I'm writing my option book for Avalon which is long overdue, so hopefully that will motivate me too.

Love the onion soup at the OK. Did you guys make it? If not, Kelly and I are trying to get a group going and meet the third thursday of every month at the book store on the corner of Prospect and Center. This next meeting were talking about genres and a little bit about what you can expect to be paid...

I guess I missed the pary. This is my first try for this and I realize that I'll probably not be able to finish it this time. I'm kind of burning the candle at both ends right now. I'm trying to get my stock built up for the Moose Lodge Craft Show this coming Saturday.

As a Marion native now living in Columbus, I am proud to see you all representing the hometown! :)

I make it to Marion somewhat regularly, so I may be able to make some get togethers if you'll have me.

Marion isn't all that far from Marysville.
