Hey Everyone!
There should be a regional email going out shortly welcoming everyone to this year's jam-packed schedule of festivities and fun. In the mean time, we have a kick off to finalize.
This year we'll be holding our annual NaNo kick off at the illustrious Open Books, located at 213 W. Institute Place, Suite 305.
For directions on how to get there via public transit (Brown/Purple Line to the Chicago station), click here.
Adding a variation to past kick offs, this year we'll be doing a bagel & baked goods kick off from 11am to 1pm. (Get it? A kick off on 11/1 from 11 to 1. You can thank Pico for that bit of brilliance.) All we ask that you bring is a beverage (juice, water, or whatever you want to go with your tasty baked item or bagel) and a smile.
We'll have goodie bags packed to the brim with new and interesting stuff (for the first 50 people to arrive), giveaways, and a whole lot more!
If you'll be attending, please leave a message in this thead. If you're bringing someone with you not registered on the site, please inidcate it so we can have a semi-accurate head count for the baked & bagely goodness.
