So, it seems that we have at least a handful of us hanging around in the East Texas thread. So, I figured we might as well see if there is a few more of us hanging out around here.
I just made the short journey from Beaumont to Nederland last week, and I would normally be attending Lamar University if the Hurricane hadn't messed up my paying of tuition.
I hope all of you from Bridge City and Orange and anyone else whose home was affected by Ike are doing well.

I just got an email saying there was another post here, someone from Beaumont. Did it disappear, or am I going nuts? lol
And as for organizing... the first step would be to see how many of us there actually are who are willing to show up. Then, I guess we could pick locale and time, etc. Anyone else have any ideas?

It was there. I keep losing info. Earlier I had someone else's excerpt on my novel page, my title & synopsis were both gone. I changed my password just in case. This evening my title and synopsis were gone again as well as my forum post. I changed my password again (doubt that's the problem) but I don't have much faith in the site at this moment.

I would guess the majority of people here are from Beaumont, since it's the biggest, but it also seems like a somewhat central point in the Triangle, so... maybe we could all meet at Barnes and Noble one day or something? Does anyone else have another place in mind? I could really use a group of people not looking at me like I'm insane.

I should have put this in my previous post -_- I'm a silly goose.
I'm pretty much available after four. Fridays and Saturdays are good anytime but other than that, work kicks me hard.
