This thread is for announcing random, un-official write-ins around town! It usually shows up eventually, so I thought I would get one started early.

To get things going, I am going to be at Kaldi's this afternoon at around 4 p.m. to do some novel-planning. Anyone who feels like showing will be more than welcome. I will try to have a table tent or something for those who have no idea what I look like in person.

I have a standing writing date with a couple of friends for 10 am Friday morning at Kayotea. Usually I get there at 9 and stay until at least 11. I try to nab that sofa by the chess board (and the electrical outlet), and I have a sticker of a bookshelf covering the entire front of my laptop. Wave if you can come in!

I don't actually have any write-ins or write with anyone (heck, or even own a laptop) but you can usually find me somewhere in the cemetery with a notebook, if you feel compelled to come join me and see what it's like writing there (it's actually really peaceful).

GET THE EFF OFF THE FORUMS AND WRITE!
Novel inspired mostly Cassidy Haley and partly by P!ATD? This is gonna be scary.
Anybody else have nightmares about that little blinking cursor thing on your screen?

11/12/09 - If anyone is interested I'll be writing the rest of the day (or at least as long as I can) at Country Kitchen. I've got a small table here and I should be fairly easy to spot. Laptop and a red notbook with a nano sticker on it. I'm trying to do a bit of catching up since I was out of town and unable to write the first week of the month.

Procrastination is like masturbation. It all seems well and good, but in the end you realize you're just screwing yourself.
