I'm just curious to see if anyone else would be interested in attending write - ins in the Brier Creek area? Perhaps at the Caribou Coffee or the Barns& Noble?

Brier Creek is doable, especially during the week as I work pretty close to there. There's an excellent coffee shop, also with free wi-fi, that is Brier Creek adjacent (off of TW Alexander, near Page Rd intersection) which is open late on Fridays. Well it did, the last I time I checked. Open til 630 Mon-Thurs & Sat. Closes at 5 on Sunday.

They have Latin American coffee beans which they grind on site and specialty pastries. Husband and wife endeavor with their family and close friends also working the counter.

Awesome! Even if there isn't much interest in a write-in there, at least perhaps we can get together to write. I'm thinking either late Sunday or Thursday afternoons/evenings. How's your schedule look?

Sundays are hit or miss for me, but thursdays are almost always bad. i usally work until 10ish on thursdays. but my schedule is so erratic it doesn't really make sense for me to give input. i would love to do write-ins around brier creek, so I'll make the ones that I can and if I can't make some, oh well!

Well, to be honest, I could meet in Brier Creek at just about any time in the evenings. I was just trying not to conflict with any of the other write-ins. :)

I haven't made the schedule for November at work yet, so I can't really say what my best evenings are, but I'm happy to try and work around your schedule if you plan some and put them on the calendar.

I'd be happy to meet for a Brier Creek write-up. Weekend afternoons or any evening other than Tuesday.

I live near Brier Creek so may work. However, I can't drive after dark unless it is an absolute emergency. Tuesday afternoons are taken also. Otherwise.....
Will that work for anyone?

I have to work on both October 31st and November 1st, so I can't make it to the All-Night Write In at Gypsy's :( But, I thought I'd go to Barnes and Noble at Brier Creek after my shift ends on the 1st and get started. If anyone wants to join me, I'll get off between 6:30 and 7:00, and I work right around the corner from B&N. I'll probably plant myself in a corner with my purple laptop, so I shouldn't be hard to find!

Love the idea of meeting at one of the Brier Creek area coffee shops. Hammock's is a neat, non-chain place!!

It looks like no one is able to do Sunday night, November 1st. How about Monday morning, November 2nd? I don't have to work until 3:00 that day. Anyone else have the morning free?

I'm not going to be able to make it out to the Write-in out on Six forks; But I'll probably be hanging around the Barns &Noble in Brier Creek if anyone is interested in joining me. I'll probably be there after dinner time in the starbucks cafe part, and you can identify me by the short brown hair, black/faded hoody, pink head phones, and probably black fingerless gloves; oh, and I'll probably be typing vigorously at my laptop. >.>

I'd be interested! I get off work at 4:00 on Tuesday and am free the rest of the evening. I heart Panera and the one in brier creek is the best one in the area

Oh good! I heart Panera too! I get off of work in Durham between 5-6, but live near Brier Creek, so I'll be there ASAP. See you Tuesday!

Anyone else want to join us at Panera, Brier Creek? (It's across the street from Brier Creek Shopping Center, on the Red Robin side.)

I'm a big fan of Brier Creek and would love to join in, though my schedule is very limited. I'm more available on Mondays and Wednesdays most of the time. I will tell you right now-don't try to do Caribou Coffee on a Thursday night. It's already packed by the knitting group that meets there, so pick another spot for Thursday. (they haven't missed a Thursday in about four years.)

One thing to keep in mind for those you who might need to plug in while you're working--B&N is very limited with plugs in the cafe area. Caribou has tons of plugs, which might be helpful.

I'm available just about any night of the week. But am definitely going Tuesday to Panera :)
