Really, I'm frightened that I'm the only one. I would really like to get together with people my own age for a write-in. At a library or other such places. Any ideas?

Your not the only one. I have two friends in Sandy, one in JR High, the other just in HS, that are doing NANOWRIMO this year.

We've got a few younger people. I'm not sure if they're still Jr High aged, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few more new ones showed up.

I'm not Jr. High age but I'll be happy to cheer you on! That's just the most awesome thing. Good for you!

There are lots of Write-In's at the libraries. There is actually one today at the Sprague Library from 3-5 PM. Look under events in the Salt Lake City Region. They have all the "official" write-in's listed there. If you can't get to any of those, maybe try and host your own.

BTW, I'm Jr. High age!

I'm not in Junior High but I'm a Sophomore! You're definitely not the only person around this age that's doing NaNoWriMo! I tried last year and completely failed and this year I wanted to try to get some people to do it with me so that I would have more of an incentive to write and four of my friends ended up deciding to try along with me! It would be great if there were a few other people around our age that went to the write-ins that have already been scheduled because then we could all sit together. I'm planning on trying to get my friends to go to at least one of the write-ins with me but it just depends on all of our schedules. If we do end up going, I hope to see more people our age that are participating! :D
