Specifically, West Chester, Exton, Downingtown, Coatesville, and the surrounding burbs. I would like a roll call, if you please, with your name, genre, and whether you'd be interested in meeting up during November.

Hi.

Tammy here. I live in North Coventry, about 20 miles from Exton so I could do a write in somewhere near there. Last year I won with a chick lit book. This year, I'm tackling one of those hard-to-define, may-as-well-just-call-it-'general' fiction books.

I may be down for a weekend from college, and I am in Exton. I don't know what happened to the people who met at Borders in the KOP mall, but I'd be game for a meetup that was closer.

Hi all! I'm Amber -- I was very excited to do NaNoWriMo last year (just found out about it) but then had a massive job assignment to do and family visiting and as a result I didn't actually get to participate so I'm definitely looking forward to doing it this year! I'm not 100% sure what I'll be doing but it'll more than likely be fantasy. I'm located in between Downingtown and Exton and I'd love to meet up as long as it's somewhere I won't get lost. Still figuring out all these backwards roads.

I'm in West Chester. If it's a weekend that I don't have my son, I'm game for a meet-up. I have no clue what I'm writing this year. I missed last year due to personal reasons, but the previous year I managed to make 40,000 words. I'm hoping to someday hit the 50,000 word goal. Are there any plans for a Nov. 1st meeting?

Hi, I'm Kathy. I live in West Chester/Downingtown area (West Bradford Township). I'd love to meet in Downingtown/Exton/West Chester area. Day meetings are better than evenings, and weekends are fine, too. I think that I am doing a Middle School novel, but am still scribbling notes, etc. Good luck, everyone!

I'm in this year and live south of Pottstown but I travel all through ChesCo for my job so I'm up for meeting anywhere.
I'm doing a undefinable or just general novel but it does have talking animals in it.

Hi Tammy,
I live in Pughtown just south of 23/100...so great to find some one in my neighborhood who's done NaNo Wri Mo! I made it to 28,000 words in 2006 with a romance novel. This year I'm going to finish a novel I've been working on for five years or more. I know that's technically against the rules but I just need the outer motivation to finish it as I'm very close. It seems like there are some others in ChesCo interested in getting together, let's keep in touch. We could always do a small but close and convenient group up here!

Hi guys. I'm in the Berwyn area and I would love to attend some write-ins! (work schedule allowing) My work schedule varies from week to week so I can't really say what days I would be free but I guess weekends would be best. I think I'm going to write a children's story.

Can't wait to get started and meet up for some writing crazyness/fun!

Hey, I'm from the Phoenixville area, and I plan to do a supernatural type of story. My schedule is rather inconsistent and can be a bit tricky sometimes, but I'm interested in the proposal nonetheless. KOP, Exton, and West Chester are all workable for me.

I'm up for meeting if someone is coordinating a get together. I live near Kimberton and find myself at the Whole Food Market several times a week.

Hey all :) I'm located just south of Pottstown, so about 20-25minutes north of Exton area. I'm attempting a fantasy novel, specifically centered in Celtic Mythology... and I'm hoping this exercise will get me writing again, as it's been difficult for me to keep up with it for the last few years...
I am unfortunately too busy between work, classes, and assignments to try to make write-ins, but I encourage from afar!

Hi folks - I live in Phoenixville and am open to meeting if it fits into the schedule. Am okay with any location in Chesco with preference toward Phoenixville/Exton/Malvern areas. Working on a middle grade mystery adventure with some supernatural/fantasy elements (children's lit). Keeping up the pace so far - woohoo!

Happy scribbling,
J.S.

Hey Everyone--

My boyfriend and I live in Chester Springs--between Phoenixville and Exton. Is anyone interested in doing a meetup?

I live in a cornfield from which I can throw a brick into Lancaster County. I haven't done this in years, but I'm looking forward to giving it another try!

This is Kathy again--West Chester/Downingtown. I had a slow, plodding start yesterday, but somehow hit a roll today and am now up over 5,000 words (half of which may be glarp). I thought this was to be a middle school/early teen novel, but I've switched to general adult. It was too hard and too forced to talk like a 13-yr-old. Would love to hear how others are doing, and whether there is to be any kind of a meeting in West Chester/Exton, etc.

Good luck, everyone!

We might be neighbors. I can literally see the sign that says welcome to Lancaster County, from my front porch--lol

I used to live in Coatesville, and though I don't anymore, it's not to far, and I know my way around all of those areas.

I would recommend The Steamed Cow in Downingtown for a write-in... but they just went out of business over the summer. Who's up for a write-in at B&N at Main St. Exton, and when?

Hi! My name's Stephanie. I'm in Phoenixville, writing an adventure/speculative fiction novel. I'm interested in doing write-ups this month. Happy to go to Exton, Eagle, Malvern/Frazer.

I might be able to make that -- do they have WiFi? Would I need to bring a power strip so we can maximize laptop plug-in availability?

Hi Stephanie,
I'm pretty sure they have WiFi though not positive. And, great minds think alike, I was also planning to bring a power strip for the same reason!
Hope to see you Fri, there seems to be a good bunch of ChesCo writers and i hope we can get together!
