My birthday's midway through December, but my brother's birthday is Nov. 3. He'll be 60, but he's not a Nanoer. He keeps talking about writing a memoir about growing up in the 60s, but so far it's just been talk.

I'm a Libra—my birthday is October 11th. My wedding anniversary is October 10th. It's the start of a celebratory weekend for me, plus I just had a wonderful reunion with a dear family friend who is going to participate in NaNoWriMo.

I'll be 49 on 10/12, but i hope you'll let me join the gang of 50's.... i'm uncomfortable with those cusp-y years, and have always been a "mature soul."

This is my first WriMo so i'll be watching the vets, and trying to maintain some sense of discipline in just dedicating myself to the task of spewing out words w/o the inner editor.

And just to really scare all of you non-Scorpios...before our kids were born, my husband and I had several Malamutes and decided to join a Sled Dog group in NJ. We became friends with the group and it turned out that about 3/4 of us were Scorpios. I think that there were probably about 8 or 10 couples in the group as I recall. It really was scary!

Happy Birthday everyone! And Happy Anniversary to the Wedding post.... It won't be 38 for me until December 23rd... I'll be the big 5-1 on the 25th. Next year my bday falls on thanksgiving day.

Last year for 50 I bought myself 4 really nice gifties at each quarter - my favorite is a lovely red fountain pen made in Italy. When I discovered nano my first thought was, "What an excellent gift for myself this year!" Hope my present is a gift that keeps on giving.
