Things look like they are shaping up really well so far. But for as much as Myst and I have been able to do, there are a few things that we'd like to call upon our amazingly talented Vancouver Wrimos to help out with a few things as well. Here's what we've thought of so far. We'll update the list as volunteers are found or new ideas are added . . .
- custom twitter background. Preferably one that will work well with the VanCoWriMo crest that Myst created.

I could definitely take pictures at any event I can get to (and I'll get to as many as I can, schedule allowing). I'm not pro, and I definitely go for quantity over quality, so at least there would be a lot of shots to choose from!

Unfortunately I am still cameraless (*pause for huge sighs of relief from those who know how I am with a camera from previous years*), but I *do* have some photos from previous years (not last year), if you'd like those added to flickr to spice it up a little. Though i can also see the immense advantages to keeping it current - to *this* year - so no worries in the slightest if you're not interested ;)

Sooooo sorry for being so late with this. Nothing at all has gone as planned for me this month (that's Nano for you!) but I did come up with something tonight. It's mostly just a bit of a riff on one of the existing twitter backgrounds, and is kinda rough.

I got a bit stumped when I discovered that twitter backgrounds can't be centred. :P Let me know what you think (and if you like it as is what to put in the info box and so forth). I just did a super simple rain effect but I can probably figure out a better one if need be.
Edit: Here's another version with a softer rain effect (I found my brushes!)
