Anybody else out there from these areas? I'd love to do some write-ins with other people.

It looks like it's just the two of us around here, unless someone else speaks up. If you want to get together for North Texas's Smallest Write-Ins, though, I'm up for it. Maybe at the Borders or the Barnes & Noble, or one of the IHOP's after the bookstores close?

I'm in Carrollton, but close to enough to Lewisville that I wouldn't mind getting together.

I'm in Flower Mound. I'm always willing to meet with people who are as crazy as I am.

The IHOP on 2499 isn't usually too busy. It might make a good meeting place, so long as we're willing to pay for more coffee. If you want a place were we could crash for free, the Borders on 3040 is a better bet.

I'm ok with either of those locations.

My schedule next month is pretty open, but I won't be available on Tuesday or Thursday nights.

My husband and I are both new to Lewisville (both grew up in Carrollton), but Tuesdays and Thursdays won't work too well for me. I take online courses those nights. Would love to hang out, but will need it to be a time when my in-laws can watch the baby. Perhaps Saturdays?

I'm in Lewisville. I've been meeting with a group in Dallas, and I'd love to join one closer to home!

That's all right, I can't do Tuesday or Thursday nights, either. :D What nights are good for everyone else?

Monday and Wednesday nights are best for me at this point. I try to reserve the weekends for family as much as I can.

Those are both good nights for me. How about the Borders at Vista Ridge on November 2? It's got bus access, so it might be more convenient for some folks.

Just about any time should be good for me, honestly.

On November 2nd, I could be there around seven. I'm in Color Guard at MHS, so I've got a busy schedule, and I'm busy every school day till 6:30, and have Saturday competitions, and Friday football games, but Sunday I'm free, and I might be able to convince Mom to let me stay out on week nights. Thursday is bad for me, though, too...

I'm excited to see stuff going on in this area, and hoping I can drop in on some of the events... unfortunately I'm dependent on the spouse for transportation, which means it all depends on the unpredictable demands of work schedule. The closer to The Colony the better, but Lewisville and Frisco are both doable, and Denton might be on weekends. So I'm sure I'll meet some of you, somewhere, sometime!

I could do Nov. 2 in the morning (after 9) until almost 1. That's when my daughter is in school. Monday evening is out for me this week...I have dinner plans already.

Hi!

I am in Flower Mound too!
The Barnes and Noble at Highland Village Center is nice too--not very crowded.

This is my first try at this so I would love to join in a write-in. I just need advance notice so I can make sure my husband can watch the kids :)

Is anyone still planning a daytime write in? Where? When?

I have big, curly hair and I'm pregnant, so I should be somewhat easy to find...LOL If those clues aren't enough, look for the p.o.'d-looking lady, since I'm sure I'll be grumpy with my plot monkeys by then. :)

I'll be at the same Starbucks on Monday morning from 9-12:45-ish if anyone wants to drop in. ZenMamma, it was great to meet you today! :)

I'm in Lewisville too. If anyone sees me around I wear a tinkerbelle beanie, a white button that says "Jasper says relax" and a lanyard -when I'm writing. Come say hi if you see me around anywhere.

FYI, I won't be at Starbucks on Monday morning. The kiddo and I came down w/ a cold yesterday and I don't want to spread the germs. If all goes well, I'll be back at Starbucks on Wednesday, though! :)

Hey guys, I'm gonna invade your thread, sorry! I live up in Chicago, but my parents live in Flower Mound, right at 2499/3040. I'm home for four days over Thanksgiving, and would love to meet up with some WriMos in the area to do some writing. Would anyone be interested in meeting up on Friday (11/27) or Saturday (11/28) over the holiday weekend? I might be able to borrow my parents car, but otherwise I can walk to anywhere in the near area (someone above mentioned the IHOP on 2499, I'd be so down with that!).

I know it's pretty far in advance, but I'm booking flights now so I thought I'd bring it up here before I forgot.

How about the 28th? I'll be in town then.
