Hi there NaNo's!
My name is Aimee and I'll be holding a write-up twice a week in Kings Mountain, NC. The times are every Monday and Thursday night from 7pm until your fingers fall off (although, the coffee shop closes at 10). Each meeting, we'll briefly discuss a topic on craft, then either WRITE or chat--it's up to you. At each meeting, I'll have handouts and worksheets that will help you on your way towards winning.
The first two evenings--the 2nd and the 5th--will cover plot and subplot.
On the 9th and 12th we'll talk about world building and character arcs.
Then, on the 16th and 19th, we'll look at subtext and pacing.
On the 23rd, we'll cover a lovely little thing called climax--then shoot towards denouement.
Of course, the 26th is turkey day, so there won't be a meeting that night.
But on the 30th, if you're not heading to another "Thank God it's Over" party, join us again. We'll wrap it up and talk about revision!
