Anyone from the Valentine capital around? I know I can't be the only one. Well, I know I'm not, I personally know four people. But anyone else?

Also, if you write in public, where do/will you do so? I'll get some done at the LHS library during lunch, and maybe some more at the public library.

I'm a Lovelander and would love to hook up with others to write. Daytime is best.

A Lovelander as well. I'm up for carpooling to FC write-ins, or getting something set up occasionally in the Sweetheart City if that works.

I am in Berthoud and would love to see a write-in in Loveland so that I can stay a little closer to home.

Peg, you might want to also check with the Boulder crew and see if they've got any write-ins going on in Longmont.

I think I just replied...but it never seemed to finish sending. I live in Loveland. Don't have a laptop, so not sure I can write in other places. I just signed up and I take it that I have to type my entries and not handwrite them. Let me know if I'm wrong about that. Lore

I'm a Lovelander. Would love to do a write-in, though I'm not sure how productive I'd be, on account of my lack of laptop. I am, however, not opposed to handwriting sections and doing character development in concert with others, and I really, really like coffee. Further, I'm rather partial to that coffeeshop on fourth street located in the anthology bookstore...coffeetree, is it?

I'm Lovelander also and that is one of my favorite places to hang out. The siren call of the book section could be a challenge to my word count, but I would meet for a write-in there, depending on scheduling. My schedule changes every week. Eliminates boredom but is a bit tough to plan with:)

Well, I think a coffeetree write-in is a necessity. For that matter, I'm partial to Mondays or Tuesdays, and I also have a constantly changing schedule but luckily I have most of November planned for me in advance. Definitely a kind of convenience. And you're 11,000 words in! The siren call of the book section seems hardly a problem this early on...

Coffee Tree it is! Next week I have Monday afternoon open after 1 p.m. Does that work? Tuesdays are my hiking day, so that doesn't work for me.

I work at 4:30, but we could do a generalized gathering around 1 or 1:30. Is there someone to make it official, or do we just bank that people are going to know from reading this? In any event, I'll attempt to procure a laptop to borrow exclusively for the purpose. I don't know how easy it is to borrow a laptop from a friend, but I can try.

How about 1:30? Anyone else want to join us? Greeley WriMos? Zomby13, how do we do this? Should we call the coffee shop to warn them?

Yes call the coffee shop just in case let them know and that way if possible they can reserve a table close to a power source for you.. Get me a start to finish time and I will add it to the calendar. If you want to make sure that Greeley people know create a post on their forum as well. Hope you guys have fun. I would come if I wasn't at work at that time.

We aren't inviting Greeley folk to our very exclusive Loveland write in. Not because we're cliquey, mostly because the coffeeshop is smallish.

OK. Here's the scoop on a Loveland write-in. Monday Nov. 9 at The Coffee Tree, 422 E 4th St. 1:30~4p.m. We have the only two tables next to electrical outlets reserved. Claim you seat and plug in by 2 p.m. Whatever we don't claim by then will be released for public use. thesquarerootof is right--it is very small. We can probably accommodate 8-10. Maybe we can hook up with Greeley at another venue. I will try to get there a bit early. Also, if anyone can bring a power strip, that would help for those that need power. Hope to see some of ya'll there:)

I just wanted to drop in and let you know that you guys taking the initiative and setting up a Loveland write-in is AWESOME. Way to go, guys. I wont be there, as that's during my day job, but here's kudos to you. Go Loveland!

I also am planning on getting there a bit early and will try and remember a power strip, though I suggest others remember too for I am VERY forgetful. It's a fault, for sure.

All other years I've been holding a FoCo LoCol, but I'm down in sculpture town this year. You'll still probably see me up in FoCo though.

Wow, I guess this is what I get for not checking up on this thread. I'm not sure if I can make it to that particular write-in, but my mom does work at Anthology (but not on that day).

Perhaps, later in the month, we could have a weekend write-in somewhere. I don't have a laptop... perhaps the public library or something might work.

I'll be sure to visit this thread a lot more often now.

I'm from Loveland!! Can't really do write-ins with other because like some of my fellow authors here, I am not cool enough (or at least ahead of my bills enough) to have a laptop. I am super jealous of those who can write their novels long hand. I try and then a month later I can't decipher my own hand-writing (my sister say's I have the handwriting of a psychopathic kindergartner)

Anyways Loveland rocks!!
(Now I have Stephen Sondhiem's song "Loveland" stuck in my head)

Hello. If you're reading this, you're not writing, which means you're failing at your goal of having no personal life.
