Just curious. Won't be doing it for Nano, but I have an active account for LOTRO. Also play DDO every so often. Installed games that I am not currently subscribed to include Vanguard, Warhammer, and Age of Conan :)

Not really. The only one I've spent any money on was Eve Online, and I only did that one for a couple of months. Part of it is I don't like having to pay every month, and the other part is I don't like feeling obligated to play.

Don't take that to mean I'm not a gamer, though. I've given over extensive periods of my life to Starcraft, Diablo 2, Civ 3 & 4 and Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2. :-)

I wore out on WoW about a year ago, now I need a replacement but everything out there seems a little lame by comparison. Still waiting for the new game that is as big hit as WoW or Everquest were in their days.

I don't think it is likely anyone will duplicate the success that Everquest was and WoW still is. The player base is fragmented with so many MMOs out there now and more choices on the horizon.

If you want a game that is better than WoW, though, each of these qualifies:

Vangaurd
Age of Conan
Warhammer
LOTRO

I enjoy all of those a great deal when I play them. I can't play WoW for more than a week without being bored stiff. Age of Conan has the best combat, and is the only one of the bunch rated Mature.

:)

I expect Diablo 3 to be huge. Technically not an MMO, but it'll have extensive online play.

I've never been big on online games. One because I don't want to pay a monthly fee on top of the chunk of money put down for the game and two because when I'm gaming socializing and chatting is the farthest from my thoughts. The closest I got was dragging my old compie tower out of the house for a night of Diablo 2 that was a great deal of fun.

I still play Diablo 2, and am fiendishly waiting for Diablo 3. Recently we eyeballed the memory and video upgrades I'd need to be able to get RE 5 to work on my current compie. I am much more likely to be found sitting in front of the tv and cursing at my old ps1 and ps2 games. Level building and Final Fantasy truly a match made in heaven for me.

Not quite into the games anyone's mentioned so far, but I play some games on Windows Live through their free site--I play Text Twist, Mah Jong Tiles, about all games that have "Atlantis" in the name **lol**, and Bubble Town.~~Sunny

Same here. Haven't really played any of the mentioned games here except WoW, which got me too addictive and my ten-day trial, and maybe a little bit of Diablo, but I'm not sure. It's been years since I last played it, or something similar to it.

I actually play pc games and Wii games. The main pc games I play are usually Nancy Drew games--23 total, if you include the Dossier versions. Other than "The Movies," Diner Dash 1 thru 3, and "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (which is a combine of certain versions of the movies.) I've played a portion of "The Longest Journey" and "Dreamfall," but have never finished either of them. Once I get a bigger memory (or whatever it's called), I'm going to install Dreamfall, so I can finish it.

Lately, though, I've been playing a lot of games on Facebook. I'm addicted to Mafia Wars and Restaurant City.
