Mmm, I suppose I'm in the area. Over in New Milford, a few minutes away from Bergenfield and Dumont.

I live on Palisade Ave, just east of downtown. I can walk to Zentina, for instance, but I prefer Ben & Jerry's ;-)

We could have a mini- meet-up, perhaps at Jackson Hole?

Actually, I'm right in Paramus, which isn't all that far from Englewood at all.

I'm within walking distance only of the high school. I work in Hackensack all day, but am free most evenings

I could meet in Englewood any night this week except Monday & Tuesday, and I think it might actually be a free Saturday.

Since Barbara can't meet Monday or Tuesday, who is available Wed-Friday night or Saturday day? I figure once we get a day and head count, we can then figure out where to go?

Friday night is when Gary is trying to create a kick-off party.

Wednesday is fine, I'm not sure about Thursday.

I have to do my laundry and cleaning on Saturday, because I'm going to be writing on Sunday :D

Wednesday or Thursday works for me. Are there more than 2 or 3 of us who'd want to meet here in town? Or maybe we could meet further into the process...

I think it makes more sense once we start writing. Next week?

I can also check if the library has space - it's only a few blocks away from me.

Hi! I'm here too, would love to meet up next week. Englewood is great. Or Starbucks in Closter? Bring a laptop or a notebook? Anyone?

Hi. What time day are you talking about? If day time, count me in! I'm game to go to Closter or a really quiet coffee shop is across from The Gym in Englewood, or Starbucks in Englewood but that might be crowded?

It's called "It's a Grind" - off Van Brundt by Rte 4, Nordoff Place is name of street. It's directly across from the Gym, ground floor of the new residential complex. I can get there by 11:10 latest on Tuesday. In general, I am free every day after 11.

That's great that you are writing literary fiction.

Sue, can you join in? Anyone else?

Barbara, Sue, Carolyn...and anyone else near Englewood,
Want to meet for coffee Saturday afternoon or glass wine early Sat. evening just so we can get acquainted a little? Then when we have mini meet-ups, we can get right to work?
Just a thought...

Looks like it might just be the two of us! But I'm game if you are. Where can we go in Englewood to get a drink? Can you do 5:30 or 6 or so? I just have to be back in time to make dinner!

I think I am going to have to pass. My sister is visiting, and we are trying desperately to finish a book we have been working on for about 5 years now--it is a documentary and photographic history of one branch of our history. Every time we call it done, we find more good documents and/or pictures. We are trying once again! She lives north of Syracuse, so it is hard to find time for us to get together. SHe was leaving Tuesday when we got back from visiting our respective children in Seattle, but she agreed to stay as I had some time this week towork on this project.

I certainly understand. I've been trying to do a similar project. Pls, let us know if there's another evening you'd like to meet for a drink. Or breakfast or coffee or whatever else. It looks like there are only four of us in the area. It would be great if we could all meet at least once.

Hello,

I live near Englewood as well, and would love to join! If your Wed and Sat plans are still possible, I am up for that; otherwise, please let me know what else you are planning. Thanks!

Hello everyone!
I just signed up. I live in Englewood as well and I'm free weekdays during the day, or evenings if I can get a sitter. I would love to meet all of you. Are you meeting Wed the 4th? Or have you already met? Can't tell.
