Yes, a location has been found! This year, the kick-off party will be at Yang Sheng, at the corner of Somerset and Bronson, Wednesday, Oct 28, at 7pm. To try to get numbers, please post or contact the MLs. An email should be sent out shortly. |

I think that I'm going to try and make it. I'm going to have to find my way there, I'm not very familiar with Ottawa yet, but it's off of Bronson, so it should just be a question of which bus to take.

the 85 stops right in front of the restaurant on Bronson if memory serves me correctly. and I believe the 2 goes the whole way down Sommerset so either of those'll do ya.

Also, it's a bit of a walk, but the 1, 4, and 7 all stop on Somerset -- the northbound buses stop on Kent, while the southbound will have you past Bank on O'Connor. Woo, construction.
Google Maps does bus routes now, btw. It's usually a lot easier than trying to muck about with the official OC Transpo site, though sometimes it's finicky. (Transfer from the 4 to the 85? Surely they jest.)

I don't think I can go this year seeing as there's literally NOTHING I can eat there aymore.. and I doubt they'd be too happy with me just having water... >>; *doesn't eat any sugar or simple carbs anymore* We all know that their food consists of virtually only that and the occasional substance that is often mistaken for meat. OTL
If there is another random pre-meet like there was last year, I'll defintely go to that. o3o That was fun last year.
I'll keep you posted if I change my mind though. :P It would be nice to see people again. :3

I got a sitter, so count me in now for sure.

I hate that I can't make it, but I'll definitely do my best for the write-ins. Especially the first one; the day after Halloween? Aie, this university student is going to have to limit the drinking if I want to make it on time. =P
