Hey Tokyo Wrimos!
The local kickoff will be on Sunday Nov 1st at Shirokanedai (since there's no demand for another location). The map to Tokyo Hacker Space can be found here.
Let's try and keep it short so we don't cut into anybody's writing time. Is 1PM agreeable?
RSVP!

Yay! I'll definitely plan on being there! :)
1pm should be okay, but I might end up being a little late. It depends on how well the Halloween party goes. ;) Shouldn't be too much of a problem though!

Tokyo student here reporting in! I can't make the first meet-up, unfortunately, as I already made plans for the 1st before I remembered what day it was! Still, I'd like to make the next one if I can, so just saying hi :)

I would like to attend too but unfortunately the time frame is in direct conflict with football practice. SIcne we have a game the following weekend, I have to make that the priority.

I wish I could make it, but I'm heading Kansai-way on the 1st! I should definitely be able to meet up later in the month, but I'm kicking off November with a little out o' town holiday.

Well, so long as any Halloween merry-making doesn't get too out of hand and I don't get roped into anything insane on Sunday (which is always a high possibility considering some of my friends) I should be able to make it. Heh, thank god for free-fare XD

I'm going to try to make it but since its only an hour and we're not checking out until 12 I'm not sure I would make it in time.
I'll try though since it sounds like fun.

I might be able to make it...does anyone know how long it would take to get there from Yokohama on the train?

I should be able to make it (although does it count as an RSVP if it's made on the day of the event?).
To the person above me: it's about a 40-minute train ride from Yokohama station. Take the Keihin-Tohoku line to Tamachi, then the Mita Line to Shirokanedai.

apologies for not making it! the Halloween festivities went way later than expected, and I didn't even get out of bed until 1pm. I'll definitely try to make it to any future write-ins!

Dear all,
Future Tokyo area write-ins/gatherings will be decided via e-mail (only because it's more convenient, sometimes the NaNo site is down). They will be on Sundays every week unless otherwise stated.
EDIT: I will still post RSVP threads once the location of the next write-in/gathering is certain for all weeks up to and including TGIO. Tokyo Wrimos, please PM your emails and/or phone numbers, so we can inform you of any eleventh hour changes, and so you have a way to contact us if you can't make it last minute, decide to come last minute, or are lost.
Thanks!
