Yeah, I'm looking for you. This is where we can battle between schools, figure out if there's anyone we really know that comes here, find more people.
So, basically about me:
Name's Jamie, I /am/ female, and I'm in Grade 9 at Parkside High School. Go Panthers!

Well I'm a teen, but unfortunately since I don't live in Hamilton it's rather unlikely anyone else doing NaNo here will be from my school.
Anyways, doesn't hurt to introduce myself, since if our school doesn't do too badly at sports, we might have gotten to a division where we'd face Hamilton people (those it's more likely we'd be recognised from the Sears Drama Festival, for school that do that. We generally do pretty well there, we're actually hosting the provincials this year).
So, I'm Alissa, and I attend Cayuga Secondary School (CSS) (that's in zone 2 of the Grand Erie District School Board). And we are the Warriors! Woo hoo! lol

Howdy, I'm Sam, age 18. Never went to high school, as I was homeschooled from grade 6 to grade 12 (not for religious reasons - we just didn't like how the school system was working).

Wow, can't believe I actually know some of the names of these schools. No one I actually know, though. (Not yet, at least)

Hi! My name is Carlin, grade 11 at Sherwood Secondary. I've actually heard of pretty much every other school y'all are from! :D My friend, Melissa is on here, and she's from Sherwood as well, but she hasn't come on this forum yet D:
i was thinking of asking her to come with me to a Write-In... I've never been to one before, and I live pretty close to the one at Starbucks, or Second Cup, and I is curious! lol

Unfortunately, I think that the Starbucks write-in has fizzled due to lack of attendance. It would be great to meet you and your friend, though, if you were able to get to the write-in on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Williams on the pier. There are usually a dozen or so writers there. ----------

Yeah, the Starbucks write-in seems to have died... me and Glass showed up there today... but we couldn't see anyone around and we couldn't get a seat so we ended up leaving...
