Hey Sydney NaNo's,

I nearly forgot about this little gem, but I've updated the NanoPorgress Excel File for 2009. The link is on my sig.

Mouse over yellow cells to see what you should be putting in them. You can set any total target for the month, and any daily target also. This will change all the calculations and graphs to match. On the second page tab you can keep track of your progress in a 'big graph,' the third page gives you stats galore, and the last page is where you can track personal challenges. Just put your writing buddies name and their current word count in, and the page will tell you how you are going compared to them.

The file has many little surprises in it, like a NaNoHealth message in the blue bar.

Hope it helps.

To be completely honest my jaw just plummeted to the floor! This document is awe inspiring and nano writing motivation in spades to me! The only problem is my little 10 inch screen has doomed it from fitting properly. I will still use it though. Did I mention thank you? No? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! xD

I should note that I didn't originally write this. I found it, in rather bad shape, and coaxed it back to life (for example, it was set to 30 000 words, so I modified it so you could set ANY wordcount, and any daily quota). I also added the last page from scratch, the 'individual challenges.' I find them a lot of fun!

I should also note that if you use google docs, this spreadsheet apparently works on that too. :)

I managed to get the spreadsheet from one of my friends, who had it, but I had already made my own functional one. Although I have to say your spreadsheet is WOW! Great job with it :D

A suggestion for an alternation, though: An "Ahead by / Behind by" column?

I'll just add that this is a really awesome tool - been using it most of the time so far, and it's pretty fantastic.
