Hi all! First off, I'm a freshman at GW, and was wondering if there were any other GW people around. ... *crickets* ...

Well, if there actually are, I was hoping to do some write-ins at Gelman Library (about three blocks from the Foggy Bottom Metro, but you have to be GW students/faculty/staff to get in =/ ). I was thinking probably late nights (weekdays?), since the computer labs in there are open 24 hours, and I don't have a laptop for NaNo this year >_<". Let me know if you're interested!

I am a GWU alumni - I'd be down with meeting on campus and my alumni card gets me in Gelman, but I am not sure I can access wireless now...

Oh, then I guess you wouldn't be able to use the lab computers either? Maybe the alumni association could help you out, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to have gwireless access. Otherwise, I know someone who knows the logon info for the gwevent wireless network....

Hey! So what's up with the lack of GW people around here, huh? Well, if you ever want to meet up in Gelman we could totally do that. It would be more fun with more people, though...

Anyway, not having a (working) laptop is killing all my NaNo plans....so I think Gelman, the engineering school labs, or my room is it for me this year. If there isn't anyone besides the two of us, we probably don't need to schedule anything official.

What about the Starbucks at Gelman? Does early AM or lunchtime work for anybody? I'm actually considering doing some of my writing longhand.
