For the second year, there will be "write-ins" at the Ames Free Library Cottage at 56 Main Street in North Easton to celebrate November as National Novel Writing Month. The cottage will be a place for writers to come together to write from 5:30-7:30 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout November. On Thursday October 29 from 6:30-7:30, there will be a kick-off event at the Cottage, where people interested in the group can meet each other and learn about the program. As previously mentioned, I have the hookup for free large cheese pizzas. So if food is allowed, I got it covered!

Awesome! Food is allowed, we just have to clean up after ourselves and take any trash with us. That would be great! I'll bring some snacks, too.

I just need an estimate on how many people are coming so I can order enough pizza. So everyone who plans on attending say "NANO!"

I'm planning on attending. I'm trying to drag my mom, but even if she comes with me, she won't eat.

I'm guessing there will be people from Easton who are coming thanks to publicity via the library.... So it'll be hard to get a head count. Maybe assume 15-20 people?

So would you say three pizzas will be enough?

I think it would depend on how big the pizzas are. Most larges, Ithink, are 8 slices. If it seems like 15, then 3 is probably good. If it is closer to 20, maybe 4 would be better. But I'm not sure.

They are large pizzas from Papa Ginos, so they are decent sized.

Still trying to work my way there. I don't drive, so I can grab a cab there. Waiting to see if my other half will pick me up afterwards. If I make it I make it, If I don't, oh well :-( and don't worry about food for me. Papa Gino's pizza gives me heartburn.

I would think 3 would be plenty then.

I'm thinking of buying one pizza with a topping. Any suggestions? Maybe pepperoni?
