It's censorship when you lock a thread directly after saying things that provoke response. So I'll reply to the things from the locked thread which provoke responses from me, and then the rest of this thread can be used to discuss the wide spectrum of topics which fall under the category of "censorship"

Not from my perspective. Everything's connected. You're thinking too linear.

I have no personal business of any sort with you. Disagreements aren't personal. Disagreements spawn debates which enlighten anyone lucky enough to hear. Debating on any subject in private is rude to all surrounding minds who can listen and grow their own wisdom on the subject.

I'll bite. What do you disagree with? The debate could strengthen the novel. The debate could strengthen the minds of all who hear, and participate in, the debate, thus strengthening the novels which spawn from those minds. A gathering of writers is a counsel of minds to be milked so that society can make progress towards a basal paradigm! Locking a thread when anyone wants to say more is just as evil as burning books.

I was the only person in the audience who booed him. I was in a room that was filled with Bush supporters; they were applauding at his every statement. At one point in time, when everyone was clapping at a lie he said, I put my hands above my head and did a "double thumbs-down", and the guy standing behind me struck me angrily in the shoulder, causing pain. Bush supporters are bullies, and I was in a room that was filled with them, so I aborted my plans of throwing shoes due to safety concerns.
