Great! That's definitely close. :)
I don't know if there are any more CR/Quadra NaNoers out there, but it's nice to know YOU are out there, writing like a maniac at the same time I will be.... Good luck!

Hey, nice to see another CR NaNoer! (I'm in Willow Point.)
I just received revision notes from my agent, so may not be able to NaNo after all. Or maybe I'll just end up starting late and trying madly to catch up, lol. But I'll be cheering for you and checking up on your word count. ;) Good luck!

That would be incredibly awesome! Work is totally kicking my ass right now, but we should meet up at that stupid Spirit Square on the weekend or something. It would be deliciously awkward, and we could wear big paper signs that say NaNoWriMo, in neon block letters, so we could find each other. :D

Trill - You have the best word count in our small group. I am a bit behind in writing missing a day and 1/2 but hope to catch up tomorrow. Did you notice our region is #66 out of over 400 regions.
So how does everyone feel they are doing so far?

I've been doing a steady 2,000 words a day, at least, instead of the necessary 1,667. It' s not a big edge, but it's enough of one that I can take a couple days easy and not fall behind, and it's a nice, rounded goal that I can make without great difficulty every day. So far, I'm pumped about the writing, but my plot is an absolute shambles. It's so grotesque I don't even know what's going on. I've got it plotted out for maybe another ten/fifteen pages, and then I come to an obstruction. I have no idea how to make characters A and B hook up with character C, and meet character D, whom I'm not excited about at all, but is sort of necessary, and she was a big deal in earlier times, so I've got to follow through now... Also, I haven't the vaguest, faintest idea how this thing will end.
This may sound like whining, but I'm really happy! Go figure. I knew when I started this that I was a horrible plotter, and I'm totally copacetic with the fact that this thing will be a piece of crap when I'm finished. But the reason I signed up for NaNo was to jolt myself out of the terrible non-writing rut I'd been in for two years, and it's doing exactly that. Also, December is the Month of Editing. Ah, possibilites....
Also, sorry it took me so long to respond; I typed up a nice long one yesterday, but I must have hit 'preview comment' instead of 'post'. Freaking button placement...

Maybe just kill somebody in your story. That can usually tie a lot of things together.
My story is going quite well. I am writing about fairies and humans and the interaction they are having. It is called A Fairly Beievable Fairy Tale. So far I am having a lot of fun with the story and it is less demanding than I thought it would be. I am going to try and get a bit ahead with my writing today. I too like to have a cushion.
Your word count gives me something to strive for so keep writing
